A Quiet Day with Julian of Norwich (9 Feb 2015)

Julian of Norwich, fourteenth-century mystic, had 16 visions or "showings". After many years of reflection her writings were published as she believed God wanted her to share with other people what she had learned about his all-embracing love. In this quiet day we considered some themes from her writings and were invited to ponder how Julian’s insight and wisdom from so many centuries ago might influence our lives today.

The day was led by the Reverend Camilla White, Assistant Priest in the parishes of Bramley and Grafham. She holds an M.A. in Christian Spirituality from Heythrop College, University of London. Although her own spiritual formation is greatly influenced by the Ignatian tradition, she has a broad interest in Christian spirituality and is passionate about sharing its riches with others. flyer
