The Upanishads is a Hindu classic of sublime beauty and clarity. It is a collection of valuable religious and mystical texts concerning the nature of ultimate reality, and which describe the path to liberation and salvation.
The day consisted of an introduction to The Upanishads, followed by readings and short periods of silent reflection on the text itself. It was led by Julie Parker.
We used excerpts from the Penguin Juan Mascaro translation.
